House Republicans tonight surprised Democrats...

Are they sure the Dems were surprised? After all, with all of Pelosi's facelifts, she looks permanently surprised...

So it passed? The "John Does" who reported the flying imams are safe?

Nice to see the GOP back in fine, fightin' minority form, just like the old Gingrich vs. Wright days.

Interesting that there were 105 democrats who remembered that they still lived in America.

The bill hasn't passed, but the but it was sent back to committee with instructions to add the language. The Dems can still find many ways to derail it, but it won't make them very popular.

Not even Minneapolis-St. Paul, which is a hotbed of liberalism if there ever was one, is siding with the Flying Imams, to judge by reports from the liberal newspapers there.

It's not law yet, but it's getting there. I just hope it's retroactive.

They can see the handwriting on the wall. Even if the airlines don't have the nads to pull out, how many consumers will be willing to use that airport? I know I won't again any time soon.

One in a great while, the GOP finds a backbone. Perhaps we should mark this date on the calendar...

This is a good thing. It's unfortunate that only in the USA it is possible to kill 3000 people in a few minutes and then apply for certified group minority victim status, enabling one to extract money and privileges from anyone who is not in the group, and to wail and moan about how one is a victim of racism or some other such nonsense.

No, not by a long shot.

The bill goes back to committee, the committee is "supposed" to add language to protect "John Does". Will they? I don't know, do you?
