that's ridiculous...we had a GOP house/senate/WH for six years....ditto for all the year's prior to '94 when a rat occupied the WH..

1- if a rat gets elected in '08 the country will once again see how impudent they are on national security...

2- until the GOP steps up to the plate they deserve what they get....they have fumbled the ball badly the past three years...they don't lead, they react..and react rather poorly..

How about the Always Whining Freepers either finally find the courage to attack the Democrats for their absolutely out of control behavior in Congress or simply JOIN them. For example, did you even know the Democrat Controlled Congress has a LOWER approval rating then GW Bush?

The Always Whining Right is doing everything it can to elect as many Democrats as it can by spending all their time shooting their own in the back!

Probably so and if the American public does not like the war we are presently fighting and the method used, they sure as hell are NOT going to like the next war.

Democrats can't help themselves, raise taxes, fund socialism and gun control so you can't do anything about it. That's all they know, that's all they have ever known.

RINOs in the GOP and Socialists (S) in the DNC have seen to it that we already have a one party system. The political football was moved left long ago.

As the Socialists gain power, they are limiting political speech (not just in campaigns but in workplaces). Political correctness is despotism.

We essentially have a one party system. Dems controlled the house for 40 years. Liberals controlled all levers of government from FDR forward, though occasssionaly with a moderate Republican at the helm. The Gingrich era takeover of the house attempted to unseat the ruling liberals, but floundered on the Clinton impeachment.

Bush 2 had an opportunity to make good on many Republican goals, but didn't.

Look for a return to the post-war (WWII) norm of Democrats and Liberal R's running everything, with Conservatives on the margin. Seeing as the R's haven't delivered much for conservatives it's hard to see this as a huge loss. You can only scare me with "but Hillary !!!" so long. I survived Buba nicely and will do the same with Hill or Obama.

I think the R's maybe need more time in the wilderness to get their ideas straight.
