Keep hope alive. Sorry if I seem a bit dejected but the Dems are determined to cut and run and if the opinion polls are correct the public is going to go about their business and let that happen. We are entering a time very much like post-Vietnam where people just don't want to think about war any more and hope it will just magically go away if they think about something else. Instead they grasp on to foolish distractions like global warming so they can still feel like they are taking the world seriously and feel good about themselves. I'd like to share your confidence in Bush but he's spent almost all of his political capital and I think he'll have a hard time rallying anyone for any military action against Iran. Politicians in DC are thinking about 2008 and sticking up for the current occupant of the White House is not on their agenda. The Iranians know all of this quite well.

I agree, I think Bush is letting the clock run out as the Rats have his hands tied.
Next president will probably be a Democrat. The next president will probably have to deal with an Iranian nuke in one of our cities. Oh well.

I understand your feelings, but we have a CiC that has a track record and Constitutional powers to do what needs to be done... and he will!
