Pretty soon it will get to the point where you can't do anything in S.F. except get stoned, collect welfare and have gay sex. Oh, wait a minute...

Wasn't the reason why we have plastic grocery bags is because of the envirowackos didn't want us to cut down trees by using paper bags ?
When did the plastic grocery bag come into wide use ? early 80s ? late 70s ?

Ugh, I am a cashier at a VERRRRY popular grocery store and we do the bagging ourselves. We get a LOT of 100+ item orders and those are almost IMPOSSIBLE without plastic bags!!!

Next on the ban list: toilet paper, tin cans (the kind that come with food in them) and shoes.

San Francisco supervisors and supporters said that by banning the petroleum-based sacks, blamed for littering streets and choking marine life, the measure would go a long way toward helping the city earn its green stripes...Next they'll wanna ban condoms - wait a minute - this is San Francisco - never mind......

I'm pretty sure by now S.F. should cease to exist...or at least stop being referred to as a U.S. city

I'm from Alabama, we ain't seen "no" cloth bags, except "fer" phucking underwear.

Wait, many a skirt was made from flour sacks.

That was many decades ago.

Insane, just damn.

I would trade SF to Canada for a case of maple syrup and a city to be named later.
