I am just sick over the case of our border patrolmen being sent to prison for 12 years for doing their jobs. While OJ plays golf, and Robert Blake does whatever. Our "Justice" system is such a BAD joke.

That story about picking up the brass is entirely consistent with he kind of thing people do after and during a deadly force encounter.
The story we are all told is the cops (Maybe FBI?) who were found dead after a deadly force encounter with their brass in their pockets. That was what they did at the range, empty their revolvers into their hands and pocket the brass, so that's what they did with the adrenaline lobotomy effect. Our trainers made a point of telling us to disregard our brass.
I'm not saying it's true, I'm just saying it's entirely credible.
