Yup, he'll never be a Senator from Massachusetts. Poor guy :D
Notice the guy moved FROM Fall River, that non bastion of money TO Barnstable, any part of the Cape means money, so the guy who jumped in was apparently well off...
My $.02
It's the New Normal in child-rearing. To think it should be otherwise is judgmental and intolerant. And if a few kids fall off docks, well, what's a kid or two?
What
IT's not the falling off of docks that tears me up
It's the beatings
and rapes
and murders.
But you are correct, in some segments of the society, it is the 'new norm'.
As we continue to swirl around the drain.
Excuse me, my gradkids just dropped by, I'm going to have a little fun.
And say a prayer.
Why didn't the mother jump in? Why didn't the boyfriend jump in? I'm not a hero but if my child--even my dog--fell in the water I'd jump in to rescue him. And have done so (for the idiot dog).
For all the years I homeschooled the kids and lived with them 24/7 (at that age) I never would have left a child unattended by the water like that. It was totally irresponsible.
That is good to know. Now we don't have to lose our lunch :)
What's really disturbing is that a similar thing happened a few years back.
A guy saved a woman's life and she sued him. Amazingly, he said he still didn't regret saving her and forgave her.
Simple: You are a healthy, sane human.
Those parents are inferior animals.
"Err . . . ahh . . . I was on my way . . . ah . . . to help the geur-il . . . as you can see, but I, ah, needed a touch of the ah, creature, ah first. That wadda is coughld."
BAHAHAHAHA! :)
