Timmy Russert qasked him for his stand on abortion and without hesitation Thompson said 'I'm pro-life'. He didn't blink, mitigate, hesitate or ameliorate. No weasel words, no ifs ands or buts. I believed him and I'll vote for him if he runs.

Even his character on Law and Order called Roe vs Wade "bad law". Thompson vetoes any dialogue that runs counter to his personal beliefs.

Really? When did Russert interview him? I'd love a link to that! Just the thought of Russert trying his intimidation on Thompson fills me with delight!

hesitate or ameliorate Actually, in that interview, he did seem less than anxious to elaborate.
Would Thompson lead the fight for a national ban on abortion?
What's his position on the morning after pill?
How about embryonic stem cell research?
Has he changed his position on early term abortions?
