I just heard Dr. Manny Alvarez on Fox News talking about Tony's diagnosis. He sounded more positive than I expected. It sounded like liver cancer that spreads from colon cancer is different than cancer that starts in the liver. He said it is not uncommon that when colon cancer metastizes it spreads to the liver. He said that because they have been monitoring him very often and that the lesion is small that should be treatable. They removed the lesion and will analyze the type of cells and then decide what type of chemo. He said they can deliver treatment right into the liver at the site of the lesion. He said it is very possible that Tony will again be in remission. I hope he is right. Thank you for posting this, ShayTex. I heard Dr Manny speaking about this on FNC about a half hour ago, but couldn't remember specifically all he said...
Many more prayers for Tony and his family...
