Ya voting Democrat then?
BTW, a non vote IS a vote for the Democrats.
Oh, we will all vote. We just won't be voting for Rudy Giuliani!
I am not voting for Rudy or McCain. If the RNC wants my vote, they will put somebody in their who warrants it. As the last 6+ years have shown us, it is much easier for Republicans to oppose a Democrat president's agenda than it is to support a not-so-conservative Republican's. I won't vote for a Democrat, just leave the top spot blank. Hopefully it doesn't come to this, but if it does, and 50 million Republicans vote, but Rudy only gets 49 million votes and loses, then they might finally get the picture.
"For all you Rudy haters out there - What if he gets the nomination?
If a democrat is elected, we get a liberal who the congressional GOP will fight. If Julie-Annie is elected, we get a liberal who the congressional GOP will hold their nose and fully support. Which is worse? I see no winners.
Lets just hope he gets trounced in the primaries.
I don't see any reason why we can't burn that bridge when we come to it. He hasn't got the nomination, and until he does, I'm going to support the most electable conservative out there. And no one believes that's Rudy.
"BTW, a non vote IS a vote for the Democrats."
So?
If the candidate for Side A is Hitler and the Candidate for Side B is Mussolini
What difference does it make?
I'm not calling either candidate democrat or republican hitler and mussolini, but the difference between any democrat front runner and the Liberal wing of the Republican party is negligible.
A Liberal is still a Liberal no matter what party they are in.
He won't.
Ya voting Democrat then?
Third party.
L
I'm so tired of the math-defying nugget of pseudo-wisdom. A non vote is a non vote. If the Republicans thought they already had my vote in the bag, that's their own presumptuous miscalculation. I'm under no obligation to prove them right.
Voting for Rudy is the same as voting Democrat...
I am not so short-sighted as to consider a Rudy Giuliani victory a "win" for America.
"BTW, a non vote IS a vote for the Democrats."
That's a lousy ploy - people go to the polls to vote FOR a candidate or an issue, they're not drawn there just so they can say they voted against the "other" party. Only the party of fools attempt that tactic in desperation when they are virtually empty of political innovation - the Republic party is beginning to prove itself just that.
Good to see you at long last!
I won't vote for Rudy, even if this is effectively a vote for the Dem. I will no longer compromise since I've nothing left to trade away. Rudy has no respect for the Second Amendment, which actually means that he has no respect for the Constitution and the sovereign status of the People.
I have voted compromise in most elections in the past, and look where it got us! The GOP needs to actually represent me, or I will not support them. As I said before, I've nothing left with which I can compromise.
Somehow, the People need to take charge of the nomination process. This should not be done by congresscritters.
Ya voting Democrat then?
BTW, a non vote IS a vote for the Democrats.
Man, grow up! This line of arguement is going to be eaxactly as successful as the one guys like you were using last summer and fall. You know...vote for us or you're voting for Speaker Pelosi. It didn't work then and it won't work now. You want conservatives to vote GOP? Give them an honest conservative candidate. I will never vote for a pro-abortion, gun grabbing, global warming advocating, gay pride parade marching liberal. Never, not ever.
-come off it.....this IS STILL the primaries.........Rudy is hardly conservative or pro-life......I am shopping around for a candidate that will better represent my views.
What the Hell, damned if we do, damned if we don't, one democrat is about the same as any other!
I'm tired of "but, Hilary is even worse" find another line of B.S.
No, third party. Principle over party. I don't have to agree with everything a candidate believes in order to vote for him (if that were true, I could only vote for myself), but there is a threshold and Giuliani crosses it.
No a non vote is a non vote. I beleive that I am accountable for my vote and if the candidate does not meet my personal criteria of principles they do not deserve my vote. I am a christian first, conservative second, rebublican third.
BTW, a vote for Rudy IS a vote for the Democrats.
A liberal is a liberal, no matter what letter he puts next to his name.
"BTW, a non vote IS a vote for the Democrats."
That statement is stuck on stupid.
If a Dem doesn't vote, is that a vote for the Republicans?
