In my opinion, the worst part is not so much that Rudy is who he is, but that people here on FR could support someone like Rudy. How can anyone say that they are a conservative and support a liberal? That just blows my mind.

I thought conservatives had principles that we believed in and fought for. Seems anymore we just want to back someone who has an "R" behind their name, who we think has the best chance of winning, never mind that they could be running as a democrat. Even Rudy's mom is quoted as saying "Rudy is no conservative". If his mom gets it, why don't a few people around here get it?

Where did I ever say I supported abortion. Giuliani promises good judges, if he does not deliver he does not get reelected. If abortion matters to you as much as it does to me, then we should focus more on taking back the Senate then. Giuliani or any R for that matter could appoint perfect clones of Scalia or Thomas but it matters not if the judicial committee is ran by libs.
