Your question has me thinking, which is a good thing. President Bush impressed the heck out of me after 9/11, yet something happened. I still love him, but he lost the fire. I see that fire still in Rudy. Sometimes you just have a gut feeling about someone. The leadership in Rudy shines through, for me. As for the morality, I am not 100% comfortable answering that question. Maybe not about anyone, in the world of politics, I am not sure it is possible to be moral. Maybe we as a Country has let that happen, and I don't like it. But every single time I have let myself extol the virtues of a certain candidate, they have disappointed me. Let's face it, they all want to win, and be in power. That is the difference between me and them.

I probably didn't answer your question, but let me just say again, it is just that feeling in the pit of my soul that tells me that Rudy is the right man, at this time in history, and I honestly don't feel that about anyone else right now, but Fred Thompson is getting there, and I promise I will keep looking. We all have individual reasons that we pick one certain person, and mine might not be the same as yours, it may even be superficial, in fact, my husband doesn't even agree with me on this choice, but I will promise that regardless of who gets the nomination, I will support that person with all my heart, and money.

Are you suggesting that we haven't been attacked again as being mere luck and not a process put into place and supported vigorously by the President.

Despite leaks to the NYSlimes and constant bashing, this President has continued to tend to the business of keeping America safe.

Other than Rudy there is no other candidate who understands the workings of the Justice Department and the workings of the terrorist mindset. He's walked the walk. The other candidates have NOTHING to suggest they would have a clue as to how to lead this nation.
