I think I dropped the lede... they had announced by video they planned on snatching western personnel... no surprise.
The UN sanctions were in progress and done... not that.
My question is: Where did the ship come from/go to, what was on the ship?
This isn't to save face... that's not nutjob. Though things are really heating up anti-mullah wise in Iran... he's not that panicked... unless there was something on that ship or ships taking the same route. They're deflecting.

Don't be so sure. This may be more of a "plant" than a "leak." Also the reporter says he got it from Russian military sources. That means it could be the result of Russian intelligence and/or could be disinformation to some end known to the Russians.
