... with, it's getting safer to say, the Premier watching from the Gallery?

Been a while since any jurisdiction up here has seen this outcome.
PC George Drew in Ontario in 1948 is one I can recall.
However, his government got a majority & he soon returned to the Legislature via a safe seat bi-election after his loss in Toronto High Park.

With a minority, retirement's likely the most probable option?

Is there a likely Liberal leader candidate if Charest retires? Could the new leader end up shifting the Liberal party closer to federal Liberals?
