Rudy is no Reagan. Reagan was a conservative and his core beliefs were the thing that drew in the voters that contributed to landslides.
His personal life was not perfect, but he did not champion liberal causes, embrace homosexuality, abortion and fight to take away arms.
All of these things Rudy has done. He cannot get away from it because it is on the record.
His views on social issues are a danger to our future. His views advance liberal causes.
He is not a conservative and has never claimed to be in the past. His candidacy will lose more voters than he could ever pick up.
Take your blinders off and look at the whole package.

So far as I can tell, your referenced post was a copy of some news article or opinion from somewhere. I seem to remember reading it before.
But you posted no identifying information, so I can't tell for certain if it is someone else's work or your own.
So not only could that be spam, and thread hijacking, it could also be plagerism.
Of course, if it is your own words, I apologize. It just looks exactly like an article I read earlier.
To: wagglebee; narses
That's not really spamming, but posting entire comments repeatedly that don't directly relate to the topic of a thread would be spamming.
To: airborne
I've started identifying them on other threads, usually lambasting people for socially conservative opinions.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani led off with his strongest card, his terrorism-fighting credentials, before touching on healthcare, immigration and energy policy in a speech to a welcoming crowd Saturday. I hope it's OK to discuss the information in the article.
What has Rudy done to make "terrorism-fighting" one of his strongest cards?
Sure, he threw Arafat out of a theater once, but that hardly qualifies as fighting terrorism.
What has Rudy done to fight terrorism? We know what he did after terrorists attacked his city for the 2nd time. He reacted well to a terrorist attack, but he did nothing to fight the terrorists.

You are repeating Democrat talking points -- "attack Rudy on his 9-11 leadership".

Talent and Allen were RINOs? I don't believe I said they were RINOs. I said earlier that all Republcans were punished for their behavior. They governed like RINOs. Rudy behaves and governs like a true RINO, because he is. He may be more lib than some RINOs.

From what I can see, Thompson's acting career was considerably more successful than his political one. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't make me think of him as Presidential material.

As much as I like Fred Thompson, I have to agree with you. He really has no record of leadership, especially at this critical time in our history.

Pretending that Giuliani is no different from Hillary is not only disingenuous, but it's an insult to people's intelligence. Can you offer me any reason why I should believe that Mr. Giuliani would be any less likely to attack the Second Amendment than would be Mrs. Clinton? From what I can tell, Giuliani's record is worse.

Other than the fact that he is a conservative, is there any reason you don't like Duncan Hunter?
You seem to think just being a conservative makes him qualified or even electable. Most people in this country don't even know who he is. And a stint in the US Congress is not a very impressive record of leadership. I have nothing against the man. I just don't think he can win.

The reason you Rudy folks keep saying "only Rudy can beat Hillary" is because you're trying to distract others from the fact that, when compared to the other Republican candidates, Rudy looks just like the liberal he is.
So you stand him next to an even more liberal liberal, Hillary.
And then you repeat "the mantra". It's all you have.
But we are not fooled by the deception.
It's a vast right wing conspiracy.

How can you say that with a straight face when this country is split right down the middle and anyone who wins will have to pull in Independent votes as well as Moderate Democrat votes. Reagan did it and formed a whole voting block known as "Reagan Democrats." Rudy will be able to do the same thing. If the party is indeed split down the middle, then shouldn't the two parties' candidates be roughly equidistant from the center (and on opposite sides thereof)?

Let me repeat (from the article):"Nothing will unite the Republicans more than a candidate who can beat Hillary Clinton," Curry said.
LET ME REPEAT... HE IS NO DIFFERENT!
