I'm not convinced that it would not be good policy to go ahead and bomb all of Iran's nuke making structures and every time they try and rebuild them re-bomb them.

Fortunately, you are not the one that needs to be convinced. Your policy would be a disaster and would never garner support politically, here or abroad.

I understand that the sanctions should do the job but what if they don't?
