The more I learn about Information Operations and Psychological Operations, the more I realize what a job is being done on the American domestic target audience.

I learned that in Spring 2001, during the event that really made me a committed FReeper. MSM non-coverage of the Cincinnati riots was astounding. Here we were, getting daily, real-time, first-hand reports on FR, often from people making transcripts from local and even police radio broadcasts, while the national media made barely a peep about the whole event. Presumably because it wouldn't reflect well on a favored minority group.
MSM media ops on the American people went downhill after 9/11. A media black hole similar to the one above happened almost immediately, with respect to 9/11 images, for example.

It is much worse than that. It is frightening/fascinating/unbelievable. Rahm is my congressman and lives in my neighborhood. He is a very effective politician, a Clinton operative, whatever that means.
I did a google search on the fallowing: Rahm Emanuel $18 million dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein
I only go into the cached version since it makes the searches so much easier. If you look at the New Editor, dated May 4, 2005 you will find the following:
"Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Rahm Emanuel (IL) reported a net worth of at least $9 million, with annual income in interest and dividends of almost $400,000 per year. (Rep. Emanuel, who made almost $10 million in 2002, accumulated the bulk of his net worth between 1999-2002 after serving in the Clinton Administration, when, with no experience in the field, he was hired as an investment banker at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. There is nothing illegal in this, as many trade-off of previous government contacts and reap big rewards. Besides, benefiting from politics seems to run in Emanuel's family: his brother Ari was filmmaker Michael Moore's agent for the movie "Fahrenheit 9/11.")"

The more I learn about Information Operations and Psychological Operations, the more I realize what a job is being done on the American domestic target audience. Who says propaganda isn't effective? There are two reasons , IMHO, Dems crave defeat.
The first is that their moral view is that no one wins a war, and everyone loses, ergo, war is bad. If we win, their moral world view is invalidated.
The second is their victim mentality. If you win, you can't be a victim.

What we have seen, are seeing, is a very standard propaganda campaign. Absolutely obvious to me, and to you. A very crude, heavy handed, pounding drumbeat of repetition of the same lie and carefully selected emotionally loaded images. Classic.
People fall for it, hook, line, and sinker.
Be nice if kids were formally taught to recognize propaganda, but then their teachers would have to be able to recognize propaganda themselves. To do so they would expose themselves nakedly to their own uselessness and stupidity, their helplessness, and the evil they have done.
Never happen.
