What has been published here about Rudy Giuliani is not true?
Please give us any examples you can find.

Reagan supported the Brady Amendment and after he left office he publicly endorsed the bill. Oops - now I've posted another inconvenient fact for the mythmakers.

Yes, but Brady is a long way from licensing, which Rudy and Keyes support, and which in my view is likely unconstitutional, unless it consists of nothing more than a Brady check. Mandatory training per Keyes, clearly an infringement, and yes, I know it sounds logical, but guns aren't cars as Alan related them to. There's no right to horse ownership to extend to cars. Unless the Supreme Court makes it up.

"There you go again, you throw mud and it's created by someone else. One more.... no accountability."

Let's see -- Rudy married his second cousin. He later married another woman, then committed adultery on her while running around with another in public. I guess that is the mud we created?

By the time Peach finishes with Reagan, he'll have moved in with gays and marched in their parades. Anything to boost Rudy.

What I find absolutely fascinating are the freepers who condemn Rudy for his marital past but are willing to give a pass to the exact same problems when it comes to Newt.

It's not surprising at all. Newt may be an immoral conservative but he is CONSERVATIVE and can be trusted to govern as a conservative.

Giuliani is a man with a radical liberal record and he is telling conservatives to trust him as he attempts to move to the center and make campaign promises that contradict that record.

Why should conservatives trust a man to keep a campaign promise that contradicts his record if he can't stay faithful to his wife?

And, Giuliani's position on abortion and homosexuality reveal he is completely lacking any sort of concept of morality.

Reagan the Saint married a pregnant Nancy. Reagan the saint was estranged from his children.

Exhibit A: Rudy supporters are slime.

As I've noted before, as the first entrant in the race, Rudy is still lacking a comprehensive platform. From what I've seen in interviews, he isn't turning his back on former positions.

Don't try twisting things - at least, not with me - it's just another get the focus off of your accountability and on to someone/something else. Why is being accountable for your own actions SO TOUGH for you?

"I frequent worse publications than the Village Voice. What is your point?"

My point is that they aren't a reputable source, especially with their attitude toward conservatism.

Though I support Rudy I am not on a jihad against the other guys in the race. I try to act like an adult.

Hmm. FReepers have been tearing down liberals and building up conservatives for years...why should you be surprised that the same is happening is Giuliani?

He did cut taxes and bring down the spending in NYC during his early years, that much is true. But his fiscal conservatism before the end of his term as mayor is something to look into; from what I've read so far, it's not very pretty.

Source for what, the only issue is that FR attracted some attention for it's transexual obsession, which it did. That's a simple fact.

I'm not the one accusing the other of slander, without providing any proof. I am fully accountable for what I write.

Again (for the third time), where has anything we have written against Rudy Giuliani been untrue? You can't answer that because you know it is all documented.

Don't fabricate things about me or my feelings for Reagan. There were many things I admired about him but also a few things I disagreed with strongly. I agree with you that the amnesty bill was a huge mistake.

It is just your repetitive comments on the same issues leaves the impression that you have a grudge against Reagan or are very upset about his personal life.

You may consider pictures of a dog, representing Rudy's supporters, humping Rudy's leg; speculation on his inability to achieve an erection because of prostrate cancer; relating to homosexuality, posts to me speculating on the halachiac aspects of semen ingested orally legitimate political commentary.

I missed those. Do you have any bookmarks?

I'm waiting for a post with a headline, "Former Hooker Endorses Giuliani".

That is your mud slinging comment that YOU created. All by yourself but so far you have said the following has created it...Rudy, me and this thread - Everyone but YOU. A truly liberal mindset, no accountability - it's everyone else's fault.

Not worth it to me to look very far, but it's hard to miss. Go to post 57 on this thread for what passes for insightful political commentary. You'll find some cancer comments on this thread. I can't cite the comment made to me.
