SPONTANEOUS GAL TURNS INTO A SLICK STEPFORD WIFE (Judi Giuliani programmed for scripted responses)
NY POST ^ | March 23, 2007 | ANDREA PEYSER

Posted on 03/24/2007 6:12:05 AM PDT by Liz

EX LACKS Judi, and Bruce Nathan had an ugly custody battle over their daughter.

Not so long ago, Judi Giuliani was a sweet, spontaneous, borderline zany gal prone to verbal malapropisms. But the Judi who greeted me...slim as a razor in a Dolce & Gabbana pants suit, had her personality surgically removed. She was polished to a high gloss, programmed to spit out scripted, boring replies to routine questions. A robot..... I felt like I was talking to a stranger.....midway through the conversation, she tossed a hand grenade into my lap. "Something I will share with you" - now we're sharing? - "is that Rudy and I have both been married three times." This is news. We know all about Judi's previous husband, Bruce Nathan, and their bitter divorce and ugly custody battle over their daughter.... But there was another husband?

"We both married young. And then we were both married again," she said of herself and Rudy. "And it took us until this stage in life to realize and find the person that we eventually wanted to grow old with." She called her and Rudy's first exes "lovely people." "Rudy and I believe very strongly in the institution of marriage."

I'll say. Pass the Ambien. Please! I need a nap.

She also claimed to have forgotten telling me three years ago that Rudy was already thinking about running for president. ....Judi wouldn't say a word about the well-publicized friction between her and her two stepchildren.....The clear purpose of this exercise in pulling teeth was to reveal Judi's trio of marriages to a sympathetic writer - before someone less friendly does it for her. Three husbands. A personality removal. What else don't we know about Judith Stish Ross Nathan Giuliani?

The question Andrea Peyer poses, is one all voters should ask: "What else don't we know about Judith Stish Ross Nathan Giuliani?"

As in all US elections, the candidate's spouse plays a huge role in who we elect. John Edwards knows that---the reason he had a full court press to announce wife Elizabeth's cancer had unfortunately returned. Hillary will drag out Bill whenever possible to shore up her abysmal lack of charisma.

First question for Rudy: Did Judi have any children with the first husband? That quickie Las Vegas wedding Judi had smells like a shotgun marriage.

Sex before marriage???

That totally disqualifies her!

I've just lost all respect for Judi.

She left Bruce for Rudy? She's blind!

I don't care if they each have been married 10 times each. What bothers be is how those marriages came about. I will never , never vote for a man or woman that flaunts adultery in our faces.

Rudy is morally bankrupt!

Why not ask about the bed-wetting habits of the earliest childhood as well, while one is at it? What relevance do the details of Judi's first marriage have?

"Rudy is morally bankrupt!" - So, he would not make a church deacon. He probably realizes it and for this very reason is not running for one.

The right. The more marriages the better!

It's the progressive way.

"Character counts." - Actually, it counts both ways - sometimes backwards. It all depends on what you want to have done. When going to a butcher to buy a cut of meat, you wouldn't expect the butcher to be a PETA activist, would you? Besides, what does Judi's character matter? She was not running for anything, the last time I checked. You must have mistaken her for hillary.

Actually, I want my president to have more morals than Mr. Deacon. I can change churches, but I can't change countries.

In the Democratic party, honor and fidelity are not necessary prerequisites for Presidency. }:P>

When the country is at war, as it is now, I'm looking for its president to be a high-caliber SOB, and not a "honor and fidelity" jimmy carter. High morals could form a nice topic for a dessert talk after the victory, between brandy and cigar.

They believe in being married. They don't appear to believe in the "institution" of marriage, which in life and especially in their church is something you do one time, not three times each.

It would not surprise me if in a few years this marriage also ended in divorce. How did Judith's child custody battle end?

What bothers people is not that they were divorced, but the nature of the divorce. Rudy publicly humiliated his second wife, the mother of his children, and he showed no concern how the flaunting of his latest mistress would hurt and embarrass his children. That reveals a lot about his character.

Both Laura and Hillary have shown that a First Lady does far more than just smile at her husband's side, arrange dinner parties, and greet guests. In addition, she holds a symbolic position. Therefore, it is no surprise that many voters also consider the spouse.

Sounds like you expect our elected leaders to be devoid of moral fiber. While most of them do seem to be characterless sleaze bags, we should at least try to elect some honest ones.

Poor NYT.....They can't trick her into saying something stupid, so that makes her a "Stepford wife"......
