Good movie, though.

I fundamentally agree with Gibson. If you can do better, then do it, otherwise STFU and GTFO.

I don't personally know the "correct version," but I can say that Icon Productions (Mel Movies) spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on several scholars to consult for the film, so that it would be accurate (and, for that matter, not be accused of racism, etc.)
There's just no pleasing some people ... people, namely, whose lives are built on nursing victim status.

Whoa...Looks like little Mel's rage problem has not been taken care of by 'rehab". this guy is one raging, obnoxious, out of control man. If he can't even respond to questions in a forum without totally losing it....
But then, after all, he made The passion of Christ...so he must be a loving, kind sensitive man.
Mel...get help.

Good for Mel.
It does no good to try to engage in dialog with Leftists such as Estrada who are the biggest racists and bigots on the political stage. These people are lying propagandists who don't want to discuss, they only want to indoctrinate.
You get to the point where all you can do is say, "F Off. Your postmodern, Anti-American, multicultural BS led us to the dawn of 9-11."

A few months ago I got to tour the Mayan Ruins in the vicinity of Costa Maya. The tour guide talked about how the Mayans were misrepresented.... blah.... blah.... blah.... Mel Gibson.... racist.... blah.... blah....blah.... mean white Catholic.... blah.... blah.
Funny how some of the Mayan Ruins have paintings of ritual human sacrifice.

Alicia Estrada, an Assistant Professor of Central American Studies at CSUN, challenged Gibson, asking him if he had read about the Mayan culture before shooting the controversial film. Gibson said he had. LOL...Looks like she is educated just enough to give her a feeling of superiority but her education is obviously beyond her intelligence.
