I was watching a large High Definition flatscreen. On it was a HD Bruins hockey game. Those guys got real bad white guy skin.

But consider the counterexample: The clinton machine hid hillary from public view pre-HD.
Low resolution is perfectly sufficient to capture such ugliness.
