I know it's driving you to hysterics that this news came out today, but it doesn't excuse you putting me on a ping list I didn't ask to be on.:
Mayor Giuliani has a wider lead among social conservatives than he does among Republicans in general. Social conservatives already know who Rudy Giuliani is. In fact, more than 70% say they know some or a lot about him these numbers are almost identical or better than other candidates in the race.

I'm not maintaing any Rudy Giuliani-related ping list.
The reason I pinged you (along with a number of other people I thought of off the top of my head) was because I knew you supported Rudy. Therefore, you might have been interested in pointing out any "facts" in this article that might not have been factual.
Because if Rudy Giuliani becomes the nominee, you KNOW his past will be brought up, as will his record. The friendly MSM will turn on him just because he's a Republican. Thus, it is better to get the dirt out now before the general election.
And my opinion of polls consisting of only a thousand or so people - especially at this time of year, especially how far we are from the election - is not high, so forgive me if I disregard it.
Popularity does not a good candidate make.

That's the same poll that shows on abortion, gun control and gay marriage 60-80% of social conservatives either mis-identify his position or don't know what it is.
