Just doing the clinton's dirty work.
Sarcasm.
You really don't think the media will slam Rudy with this information if it comes down to Rudy vs. Hillary?
Right over my head. I hate it when I fall into the sarchasm.
The funny thing is that Rudy is both the enemy of Hillary AND conservatives. No wonder the MSM has chosen him to be the candidate of the ignorant.
* Rudy is "not someone to - let's see what's the right word that I feel comfortable using - waffle. Rudy believes in getting a job done, and he has a set of morals and values that he believes in, and he carries those forth."
Shouldn't that be, "he has a set of morals and values that he believes in, and he carries those forth".. from wife to wife? (Just asking.)
OK, can I say that, while Rudy's inability to pick a woman he can actually live with and who isn't, according to Rudy supporters, a "nutjob", is an important factor in determining whether he has the judgment to be President...
The fact that his current wife was married a 3rd time back in the 1970s doesn't concern me. We aren't electing a first lady, and even if we are what she did in the 1970s (so long as she wasn't with John Kerry at anti-war rallies) shouldn't be a big deal.
Based on what actual facts? That he was a mayor when NYC was attacked? He has never worked with a military. He certainly didn't prove his capabilities after the FIRST World Trade Center attack! He certainly didn't show good judgment with Bernie Kerik!
Difference between liberals and conservatives.
We go to war: liberals call a lawyer. Conservatives call an Army Ranger.
I agree, I think these people stink, six marriages between them, no thanks, they are as bad as Bill and Hillary, do you really want this in the WH, think on it, white trash will do, and no thanks for me.
Ronald Reagan was the FIRST (and only) President to ever have been divorced. We took a real chance on Reagan, but in his case it was one divorce, it was long before he ran for office, in a different time in his life, and his wife initiated it.
Not ONE other divorced person has ever been elected President, much less someone who got a divorce after they were "grown up" and in the midst of their political careers.
LMAO! You sheep suck the MSM teat like mad. How is Rudy IN ANY WAY qualified to fight the WOT?
Based on what? Rudy won praise for the way he responded after 9/11. He refused a Saudi check very publicly & showed grace under tremendous pressure after his city was attacked. But what has he done to actually wage the war on terror? Did I miss something? Can you please show me what he has done to FIGHT the war on terror?
You're amusing!
Yes, you are right. Does it bother you when these Rudyphiles keep saying that "he is the only one who can win the war on terror"? I have yet to see once ounce of proof to back that up. Rudy has never led a military, and shows no ability to use good judgment. I wonder if he would demand that both sides surrender their guns prior to entering a battle? LOL!
President Giuliani Proclaims June 20th "Out in Government Day" (2009)
Very few Republicans, and more specifically conservatives, would be happy to see such a proclamation made by a Republican President. In fact, it would disturb a great many Republicans to see this fictional proclaimation and press release come from a Republican President.
PRESIDENT GIULIANI PROCLAIMS JUNE 20TH 'OUT IN GOVERNMENT DAY'
White House Ceremony Salutes Lesbian and Gay Pride History Month and Commemorates 40th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots
President Rudolph W. Giuliani, in a White House ceremony commemorating Lesbian and Gay Pride and History Month, honored the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Employees of the Federal Government (Federal GLOBE - www.fedglobe.org) by proclaimin June 20th
"Out in Government Day". The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Employees of the Federal Government was founded in 1992 and is open to all current and former federal employees in all areas of the federal government, including elected officials and retirees from civil service.
Accepting the proclamation from the President were Leonard Hirsch, President of GLOBE and an employee of the Smithsonian Institution, and Matt Cassetta, a State Department manager. The President also presented Certificates of Recognition to Marina Colbe, President of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Employee Association of the U. S. Department of Justice (DOJ PRIDE - www.dojpride.org) , and Rob Sadler, President of the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Employees at the U.S. Department of Labor (Labor GLOBE - www.laborglobe.org).
"In light of the recent passage of the Federal GLBT Hate Crime's Bill, gays, lesbians, and the transgendered have an additional reason to celebrate," President Giuliani said. "I want to thank the members of the Senate for taking the initiative to pass this important piece of legislation which will increase penalties for those who are accused of hate crimes. This legislation is an important step in our efforts to end crimes against lesbians, gays, and the transgendered."
"I also want to thank the organizers of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Employees of the Federal Government for their efforts to bring people together. And I want to thank you all for the hard work you do every day as federal employees for the people of the United States."
June is Lesbian and Gay Pride and History Month in New York City. This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the birth of the gay rights movement at the Stonewall riots in Greenwich Village. President Giuliani has been a member of the Stonewall Veterans Associaton (www.stonewallveterans.org) since 1998 when he was named an honorary member of the organization for his work as Mayor of New York City in crafting and passing the most comprehensive gay domestic partnership/civil unions legislation in the nation. Members of the Stonewall Veterans Association were also present at the White House Ceremony.
But is it fictional?
Not quite.
The press release is an almost verbatim copy of a press release from Mayor Giuliani less than 7 years ago in 2000. Except for updating for a "President" Giuliani in 2009 and changing the names of recognized GLBT city employees to the actual names of the leaders of GLBT groups for federal employees, the press release is nearly identical to the orginal.
The original press release is available at http://www.nyc.gov/html/om/html/2000a/pr223-00.html. Here it is:

MAYOR GIULIANI PROCLAIMS JUNE 20th OUT IN GOVERNMENT DAY
City Hall Ceremony Salutes Lesbian and Gay Pride and History Month
Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, in a City Hall ceremony commemorating Lesbian and Gay Pride and History Month, honored the Coalition of Lesbian and Gay City Employees by declaring June 20th Out in Government Day. The Coalition of Gay and Lesbian employees was founded in 1992 and is open to all current and former employees of the City of New York in all areas of City government, including elected officials and retirees from city service.
Accepting the proclamation from the Mayor were Judy Ramos, acting Co-Chair of Out in Government and an employee of the Department of Transportation, and David Warren, a Board Member of Firefighters Lesbian and Gay and a civilian employee of the New York City Fire Department. The Mayor also presented Certificates of Recognition to Sue Murray, a member of the New York City Police Department, and Thomas Ryan, President of Firefighters Lesbian and Gay and a member of the New York City Fire Department. Christopher Lynn, Commissioner at the Tax Appeals Tribunal, served as Master of Ceremonies for the event.
"In light of the recent passage of the New York State Hate Crime's Bill, gays and lesbians have an additional reason to celebrate," Mayor Giuliani said. "I want to thank the members of the State Senate for taking the initiative to pass this important piece of legislation which will increase penalties for those who are accused of hate crimes. This legislation is an important step in our efforts to end crimes against lesbians and gays."

This type of support for the radical gay agenda has been demonstrated by Giuliani in the past and there is no reason to believe that it won't be pursued in the future if he is elected. Giuliani is a recognized champion for the gay agenda. This type of proclamation is not just possible, but a near certainty under a Giuliani administration.
This is what you support if you support Giuliani. This is what you will see from the leader of the Republican Party (the President) - in defiance of the Republican Party Platform - if Giuliani is elected. Gay marriage, gay adoptions, an openly gay military - all are strong possibilities under Giuliani's leadership. The planks of the Republican Party Platform opposing such things and supporting traditional values will be removed as the Republican Party is hijacked by Giuliani and his liberal supporters.
Don't let this happen.
I'm not so sure about him vs. Obama. I'll probably hold my nose but it's not a sure thing regardless. Which says a lot.
I'm voting for anybody but him in the primary.
That is actually an argument for Rudy's being divorced TWICE being an issue. A lot of people get divorced once (25% according to your post, I think it's a little higher). But you could write a lot of those off to youthful indiscretion, or a change in life goals (I disapprove of this, but I'm saying it's "understandable"). Nobody really knows what to expect going into their first marriage.
But once you've been married once, you know what it's all about. You are older, you are wiser. You know not to rush into things, you know what you are looking for. Thus, the divorce rate dropping to 20% (if your figures are correct).
To marry what Rudy supporters call "a nutjob" for your SECOND wife is problematic. If we excuse his first wife (the 2nd cousin) as ignorance and youth, how do we excuse his inability to learn from that mistake, to choose better the 2nd time?
