I'd like to see him replace Evan Bayh in the U.S. Senate.
"Does he get a pass because he's...."
It depends whether race or "orientation" is higher on the agenda.
Uh oh....I smell a draft Tony for Prez movement on FR.
Sports Illustrated is trash. Last week they featured global warming on the cover. No surprise to see this hit piece on Dungy, who actually won two Super Bowls since he built that 2002 team in Tampa. Just be a swimsuit magazine, SI, and leave the sports to real men.
No sh/t, guys? You mean he shouldn't be sent to prison? Mighty magnanimous of them.
Of course if someone like Rush Limbaugh expressed the same views as Dungy both Wilbon and Kornheiser would be throwing major league hissy fits and making accusations of "homophobia" and "bigotry." Expected.

It is amazing how radical gay organizations take a classy statement like Dungy made and attempt to twist it into some kind of hate speech. Liberals are attempting to make conservative viewpoints illegal.
Doesn't need a pass, he's got the Creator on his side. Both he and Lovie Smith deemphasized race. Damn nice to see a pair of mentally mature Black men in America's game.
Tony Dungy is a deeply religious man who puts his faith first in his life, even above family and football.
This line is a hit piece to make it look like strong Christians are fanatics no different than radical Islamists. I don't buy it.
Black? No. Look at Clarence Thomas and Bill Cosby. Within six months there will be allegations in the press accusing Dungy of some kind of sexual misconduct. The card the liberals love to use on Black conservatives. I just hope Dungy is prepared for it, because it will come.
Nice to see that those that are constantly pushing tolerance, still only tolerate their own views. BTW, it seems that Bill wears his feelings on his flamboyantly sequined sleeve. I have not read a transcript of Dungy's remarks, but I have a hard time believing that he said that anyone should be relegated to 'second-class' citizenship.

...because he's black? No. Liberalism trumps all.
