The Climate Change deniers at National Post weren't impressed by His Sermon on the Hill.

Hey, they gave Arafat a Peace Prize, so they have a record of being a gaggle of fools.

He may have had a bad month in general, but yesterday he had his butt kissed about 530 times by ignorant congressman who won't do their homework and just bend to political pressure and accept what a so-called "consensus", artificially cultivated over the past couple of decades, tells them to believe.

Yesterday he was treated like the 2nd coming of Christ by most people on the hill, including most republicans.

Start with this: (real science)

” Credits can be allocated by a government as part of a plan that sets a limit on the total amount of CO2 that may be emitted in that jurisdiction, in what generally referred to as a cap-and-trade system. Companies may be awarded a number of permits, and must emit only as much GHG for which they have permits. Carbon credits can be earned through projects that reduce emissions, or by companies that cut their own emissions and thereby free up credits they possess for trading. Carbon markets exist wherein which companies may purchase and sell credits.

The World Bank has reported that worldwide trading of carbon credits was valued at $21.5 billion during the first nine months of 2006, more than double the value for all of 2005. The market suffers from volatility and will require some reforms, but is showing promise of achieving its goal of using financial incentives to curb emissions, says the bank. (link)

What’s wrong with this picture? If you can use and trade credits where is this helping the pollution aka Global Warming/Climate Change? Answer: It doesn’t. This is the old Toyota Agreement explained. Remember the global meeting in S. Africa a year or so ago attended by all the Global Warming aficionados, the World Bank, United Nations, the NEA (yes, teachers depend on their lobbiest to get them more $$ in exchange for keeping the lie going) countless scientists whose very being was/is tied to the Giant Grant Tit for Environmental Pursuits in all areas, many not having to do with climate at all, as do dendrochronologists, meteorologists, astronomers who study the sun as well as planets and the physics behind those climates…on and on. Those scientists tied to the Giant Grant Tit (GGT) have a very insular view on GW – one of the recommendations was to let the underdeveloped peoples remain just that, underdeveloped as it would do no good to bring them into the modern world where they might add to GW and pollution.

The Bloated Al Gore and his Bloated load of bad science is further proof of the Inconvenient Dumbing Down of American Education in spite of the Billions spent on public education. I liken Gore’s carbon footprint to that of the mythical Sasquatch i.e., if you trade a card for another card what have you removed? Nothing. Like baseball cards, one is likely to be of more value that the one you traded for……someone is making out like a bandit and Algore is among those making out like a bandit. The world is being defrauded by and will be fleeced by this Politically Correct hornswoggle of historic proportions. Global Warming is the Smoke Screen for the WOT and Iraq. If we lose that battle, the WOT and Iraq, global warming in all of it’s transparent and incontinent faux science will be worth about the same – a Hill of Beans!.......but the terrorists will be, what global warming is not.....a deadly, barbarous and unrelenting real live evil demons.

Pity they don't have a Nobel prize for hypocrisy!

Perhaps they would have had the Nobel Committee itself not been its all-time winner.

Surely, that's the only plausible explanation for Jimmy Carter's award?

"No wonder former president George H. W. Bush, labelled Mr. Gore "the ozone man" for his extreme environmental views."

OZONE MAN? More like the man in charge of OZ ONE, the base in the Antarctic where polar bears are really endangered by the wicked witch of the West, where the yellow corrosive oil pipe line leads to the emerald city and the mutant radiated penguins turn into munchkins. Of course, Al Gore is the wizard who has incredible powers. Fairy tales are fine but where is the big science behind big Al, the kiddies pal?
