Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do. Then why is Rudy grabbing guns and supporting restrictions on speech instead of ceding to the lawful authority of the Constitution? I guess that's the problem with authoritarians -- they think they make the law, and it's for other people to follow.
