If you want context, this quote fits in with his other actions on the first and 2nd amendment. That's why people are offended by it. If it was one isolated sentence in a stellar pro personal freedom career, people wouldn't give it much credence. But since it fits with his other past actions, it indicts him instead of exhonerating him. Which was why it confused me when I saw that you posted this story with that headline. Perhaps you were hoping to have this make rudy look better, but it does just the opposite. It reveals him as being in favor of more governmental control of individual lives.
In your blind rage of not having a "pure" candidate that walks on water and will bend to your bidding, you have turned into a one man band twisting everything about a candidate that will be a great president for the U.S. Shame. Shame.

Then you end it all with that last.
I don't mind being called names. I don't mind if you disagree with me. I don't mind if you don't like who I like or will vote for who I vote. But to shoot off like you did and then complain to JR that you've been polite and then accuse others of trying to run you off.
That's just plain hypocrisy
