Yes, she was; NIH protocols at Chapel Hill. She just decided that others who came before her enabled her to benefit from their treatments and that if she could, those after her would benefit from hers.

After she died, I read through some of the medical reports and the papers she had to sign basically said, "I'm aware I have no chance of survival, so go ahead and do whatever you want to me."

I don't know if I could have signed them.

Your sister waa a very courageous woman, Howlin. None of us knows for sure what we would do until the time comes to decide. I am glad for her and all her family that she survived those 3 years.

God love her. She left a legacy in her own way.

I fear it would be a while before I came out of the fetal position upon hearing such news. But I would like to think I would come out fighting, Truly something we don't know unless we walk in their shoes.

I suspect Mrs Edwards wants that 1600 Pennyslvania Ave address as much as he does. He may get a temp boost in the polls now but he'll never catch up to Clinton or Obama so what is this all about?
