My sister had Stage IV ovarian cancer and was given six months to live; she went to Chapel Hill and let them do virtually anything they wanted to to her, including stem cell replacement; she was one of the first women in this country to have Taxol (in massives doses I might add).

She lived three good years, too. Three years I wouldn't have given up for anything.

Was your sis in clinical trials? If so, that was courageous in itself along with such a strong dose regimen.

My Mom was in clinical trials - down at M D Anderson in Houston. Yes, those three years were a precious gift.

Damn cancer.

Patsy Ramsey had stage IV ovarian cancer too and lived another 12 years.
