I have the opposite impression. I think his poll numbers will move up noticeably. But then, I'm a cynic.

You could be right; given the "feeling" voters we have, this could be like a script right out of a movie.

I'm not so sure his poll numbers will go up. I think a lot of women will look at his continuance of the campaign as a selfish move. It's almost as if he said: "I am continuing with my campaign. Oh! and by the way, my wife has terminal cancer."
