The word now is NASCAR is going to relax the process, requiring teams to meet just four of the eight required points in the overall template.

And Nascar just put an official in the Toyota garage's. Not to watch what they are doing, but to help them figure out why they can't meet the template specs....

Lemme see, there is this Car O' Tomorrow...with a stupid front spoiler lip thingy hanging down...so, the first time all these cars start bumpin' and grindin' on each other, that there front spoiler thingy lip will fall off and go under the car and rip all sorts of undercarriage equipment and then the car won't be 'in spec' any more and will get disqualificated at the end of the race and what the heck will happen???

No Aero issue, this ain't a super speedway ........ the COT's should be cut some slack in inspections for Bristol.

No worries! If nutzcar can waive half of the pre-race inspection items, then they can waive all but one post race inspection items. Their perty new spoiler. It's tethered ya know, so as long as it's dragged accross the finish line the car will be legal.

The new COT rule book is written in invisible ink and NASCAR gospel is highlighted at the whim of the powers that be.
