Yeah, I've heard those who know say that criminals would be undisciplined, violent, unpredictable and disastrous when embedded in a military unit.

Unfortunately, it takes the best kind of people to go in harm's way to make a military operation work, not the worst kind of people. So they say!

The problem with criminals is that they are very selfish. You can't have selfish people in the military. You have to have people who are willing to work as a team to accomplish a mission and get back alive.
