Not surprising. I saw a film clip of Clinton and Gore
getting a tour of Monticello right after their election
win in 1992. Now, in Monticello, there are a number of
portraits of the Founding Fathers. Gore stared at one of
them for a while and finally had to ask the tour guide
whose portrait it was. “George Washington”, replied the
guide. Even Clinton was rolling his eyes at that one.
