I have been told by several pilots that one weapon that the F-22 has that is seriously underestimated is supercruise. They say that at Mach 1.1 the F-22 can just pull away and has the range to extend beyond the agressors fuel capacity.

I'm wondering why an F22 would ever turn and run. In any case it would be the exception rather than the rule.
