My question is when is her General Court Martial????? If she gets to retire with full benefits than that would be the biggest tragedy the military has ever done.

Pukin Dog,
Why are you on her side? Who cares if she made Captain. My thing is would she still be in a job if she was an E-4? NO! She should have been shown the door immediately upon return of her trip. I don't understand your thinking. She is a disgrace to the Navy and I am in the Navy! She is a laughing stock and people are still joking about her. Is this someone that should be a role model for young junior Sailors? I think not! She should at best be in pre-trial confinement until the civilian authorities do what they need to do before she is administratively discharged...I hope!

A bit, but she is getting kid gloves and that would not happen with anyone else.

"Apparently "Conduct Unbecoming An Officer" is no longer prohibited under the UCMJ."

Many years ago, when I was the Legal Beagle on one of my ships I found an ancient Navy book that covered Court Martial(s) against officers for infractions of the code (this is before the UCMJ).

In one, the officer almost lost his career and went to jail because at a party he was in a room talking to a women and sitting on the bed (she was standing and the door was open to the other rooms).

I'm glad things weren't so stiff when I was a commissioned officer.

Pukin Dog, Why are you on her side?

When did the Navy cease to be a brotherhood? When did we start kicking our brothers and sisters when they are down? Forgive me, but I believe there is something special about people who wear the uniform, even when they mess up. I believe that none of us are faultless, and I know this woman has had a record of achievement that some of us could only wish for.

Call me biased, but I stand with my fellow officers, in good times and bad, and we will take care of our own. We all stumble from time to time, and when we do, it is the charge of all of us, to keep the faith.

Sorry, when it comes to the Navy, I stand with the brotherhood in good times and bad, and would expect NO LESS from others. As a Navy man, it would only help you and your career to remember that.

How can you get a Navy job, I mean anyone for that matter, when you have a pending court date in 3 months for attempted kidnapping, burglary and assault?
