Note the words "first step". Wait for powerless Fridays where we are mandated to not use energy all day.
Why Friday? Can't do Sunday, that would validate the Christian's day of rest. Can't do Saturday, that would validate the Jews' rules against working on the Sabbath. Who worships on Friday, hmmmm?
