Gore on Climate Change
Former Vice President Al Gore appears before a House Energy Subcmte. hearing on Global Climate Change. Hes joined by Professor Bjorn Lomborg, author of a book titled, The Skeptical Environmentalist. Gore will also appear later today before the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee.
WEDS., C-SPAN3, 9:30AM ET
"global warming precedes CO2 increases,"
Good point! That, and a mention of Milankovitch Cycles, and a discussion of the Maunder Minimum are my keys for checking "science".
Over Here Ping!
Do we know the exact start times? I'd heard 9:30, then 2:30.
If the senators ask serious questions they'll have to agree that the man made theory is just that......man made......and not scientific at all.
Gore was supposed to submit his prepared statement to the committee 48 hours before the hfearing. From what I have read, he has yet to submit his statement, which is a violation of committee rules. I guess he doesn't want anyone to know what he is going to say so that they can't challenge him during the hearing.
It's both - one hearing is for the House .. the next with for the Senate

Don't hold your breath.
Yea .. but it still won't help him
BTW..anyone have a track of Paul Simon's "You can call me Al?"
Boxer is on Fox right now saying they have Gore's statement.
I can probably stand to listen to it for about 15 minutes, then Rush will dissect it for us at noon..
I hope you are right. I will wait to see how tough the Reps are in questioning him and whether they have done their homework. You can bet the Dems know what Gore is going to say and will be supporting him.
The democrats are in charge of this thing so I expect there will be more butt sniffing than at the Westminster dog show.
She is dumber then a box of rocks
When did they recieve it?
Boxer is also not letting Bill Hemmer question her.
Ahem........ she did not say! ;o)
All Al Gore, all day! LOL
These hearings are a sham and all for show
The Dems will go out of their way to praise Gore and telling him how wonderful he is
The Republicans will try to ask questions
Gore will stall and the Dems will try to cover for him
I guess we will find out when one of the Reps mentioned that they didn't receive it according to the rules of the committee.
