Former Vice President Al Gore appears before a House Energy Subcmte. hearing on Global Climate Change. He’s joined by Professor Bjorn Lomborg, author of a book titled, “The Skeptical Environmentalist.” Gore will also appear later today before the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee.

Now Gore is talking about Chinese cooperation. I guess he doesn't understand that as China becomes more affluent, their people will want more cars, electricity, consumer goods, etc. The idea that China will hobble its economy in some quixotic attempt to control the world's climate is nonsense.
