I just hope they are not infiltrated like they were before, and for some reason I think that now they are not.

This was the kind of event/s I was thinking about that can ignite and sweep across that nation faster than our presence alone could ever do. WoooHooo for the Iraqi's!

The pendulum may have just turned in the last few days, if so all the cut & run politico's here of any party are going to look real bad.

IMHO, a point that we miss, don't make note of at least, is tha fact that new friendships are being formed between Iraqi army and US forces. Men in arms who are on the same team under combat conditions often form bonds.
These bonds will pay off in due time when many of these Sunni take on a totally different view of US military as well as the mission we had undertaken.
It would be quite amazing that even AQIR would attempt to fost the bullshit that US soldiers or Marines are raping Sunni wives and killing their children.
Iraqi see who the real enemy has been. Perhaps in their rage and embarrasements for being on the wrong side shall now yield a double dividend. No better friend, no worse enemy should resonate in their minds a bit more at this point.
And now with our letting them to control their own cities is just whip cream and cherries on the ice cream.
Now if enough good will is generated by the IG toward all Iraqi, things will continue to cascade in favor of the fight for freedom and recontruction of Iraq. The oil sits in huge pools. The world awaits getting some of it.
