The joke's on her - work isn't all that satisfying nor fulfilling for most people. Whenever someone tells me how wonderful and fulfilling their 'career' is, I always nicely - but pointedly - ask just what is so fulfilling about their work.

I always get a 'deer caught in the headlights' look when I ask this. If you ever want to make somebody look bad, just ask them a real question. It almost never fails. ;-)

I work with some airheads and for amusement I always ask them real questions, I know the look you speak of, that deer in the headlights, never fails to amuse me, LOL! How sad these people are - so shallow and not smart enough to recognize it!
