This is a Wall Street Journal hit piece on Hunter - the WSJ is solidly behind unrestricted trade with the entirity of the third world, and a president who wanted fair trade with China would be a disaster for much of their constituency.

Duncan Hunter has absolutely no chance of winning the nomination, let alone the election. None.
To: EveningStar
Neither does Rudy McRomney. Good luck.

I didn't say he did. So that makes it okay to post lies?

Because? You say so? A majority of Americans support no restrictions on trade with China? A majority of Americans support the gay agenda? Name recognition is the most easily fixed of a politician's troubles.

Hunter is strong enough of a candidate to draw hit pieces. If this were baseball, he'd be the wild card but this is still spring training.

It has been the aim of the administration to drawdown troops from Day one. after the fall of Saddam.

If this were baseball, he'd be the wild card but this is still spring training. It's not baseball. It's Supreme Court vacancies and war management, etc.
Hunter will not win. What's your next choice?
This and others threads show that Hunter Fans are dug in and not moving.
Good luck with that.

I guess we'll get to listen to you folks throw a tantrum due to the fact that you can't even get a liberal elected in the GOP.

The thirteen or fourteen people still supporting Duncan Hunter are definitely going to be angry about this. Now the Hunter platform has surrender plans to go with big government and protectionism.

You people are unbelievable! The WSJ prints a completely skewed piece on your candidate's position and you blame his
supporters for getting angry?!?
Plus you obviously have no idea what Hunter's positions are since you then REPEAT the lie.
Sorry, but you guys are no better than DUmmies in this instance.

We're talking about the same Duncan Hunter that had glowing words of praise for the Iraq Surrender Group, right?

You seem quite happy promoting something you know is a lie to attack a man who is one of the strongest supporters of the troops there is.
At least my principles are intact.

Mine was a comment on the general emotion of the Hunter supporters here I have never seen an angrier group. I think the dissection of this article (if one ignores the spittle) has been legit and some fair points made, providing necessary context to Hunter's position that was omitted from the article. Personally, I like Hunter, but many of his vicious FR "supporters" do him no favors and bring in no converts.
