Israel provides sanctuary. The numbers of Jews leaving France for Israel has never been higher.
I sat in the audience at a Sharon speech in Tel Aviv, where about 25% of the audience were young European Jewish tourists to Israel. Sharon specifically told them they must see the writing on the wall, and that Israel is their home, they should make aliyah etc.
This was before 9/11.
