Using Live Mice...
Posted on 03/20/2007 12:30:33 PM PDT by John Robinson
We technicians here in the Free Republic server room experimented with real mice attached to our computers. Unfortunately, not one mouse survived being plugged-in for more than a few minutes. We've reverted back to the hamsters, they're more durable and they know how to dance to the electronic pop music we enjoy.
You should notice a significant improvement in response time.
Go go hamsters.

Well, I "sorta" have a home. I mean, all of my things are here, now, but I'm tripping over boxes, and my leg is bothing me, as is my back, but I'll feel better after a hot shower and some Ibuprofin.
Tomorrow, I'm just going to take it slowly, so I don't kill myself. The tough work is still ahead, trying to sort out what to keep, sell, or throw away. But I'm just concentrating on media, right now. Books, music and movies.

I normally make sloppy joes from hamburger, but I'm using canned beef chunks, since I don't want to go to the store...
I like 'em, too! I usually eat them openface.

It's 82, right outside my front door! It was a gorgeous day to move, but I'm glad we did it early!

Or we could all meet somewhere more central, like Ottawa.

That's OK...if I have to go North, it will have to be someplace that isn't FLAT!

Excellent choice! I love mice.
With a bit of tobasco on wild rice, that is.

These are the Gatineau Hills, across the river. I'll try to find you a better picture, but it gives you the idea.
No flat land here, we're in a valley. :-)
