Using Live Mice...

We technicians here in the Free Republic server room experimented with real mice attached to our computers. Unfortunately, not one mouse survived being plugged-in for more than a few minutes. We've reverted back to the hamsters, they're more durable and they know how to dance to the electronic pop music we enjoy.
You should notice a significant improvement in response time.
Go go hamsters.

You probably didn't mean this as an upgrade suggestion thread but I have one small idea. On the upper right side of the page there are links to sort by either Threads or Messages. I think if you added a title to those links so when the mouse is held over them the popup text says "sort by threads" or "sort by messages" it might help newbies from getting confused.
I really appreciate how fast FR loads. Making it graphics free is a great idea.
