Not so equal; the Left didn't score its point but it didn't lose its serve, either. To win, the forces of liberty are going to have to put a Dean in jail someday.

If they'd been trampling on the American flag, the story wouldn't even have made the evening news. Strange times we're living in.

And today a superior court in New Jersey ruled that the 2nd Amendment protects the individual right to carry firearms. Pinch me!

Sure, it's a good result, but I strongly doubt that this is what the Killing Fields Leftists of SFSU really WANTED to do. They wanted to punish the horrible nasty conservatives ... but ... they backed away only because:

1) the spotlight was on, in a national sense. These cockroaches prefer the dark (or "public" venues that, like SFSU, are 95%+ hard left); and

2) even their own handpicked lawyers warned them that any punishment of the conservative students could have resulted in massive liability, including payment of legal fees, to those same students.

Now SFSU gets to act as though it is a bastion of free speech. Oh really? While I'm glad those kids weren't punished, they still were put through hell for weeks over something that was obviously free speech. Chilling effect anyone?
