Hmm, the informal office poll among all the Conservative and Libertarians here where I work reveal ZERO (0) support for Rudy McRomney, yes, all three.

Meaningless. Poll conducted before Fred Thompson said he might run.

A-men!
Both polls were done before Fred really started hinting at a run. It was around the first week of March, but only in the last 10 days has he really been buzzing.

The MSM and the pollsters are sure trying to sell Rudy to everyone. I guess they think their message will convert all conservatives.

It is way too early and if Fred Thompson comes into the race look out Rudy! Too early the election is not until next year. People do not even care, only the guys running and the political pundits , and of course 24 hour news.

LOL! So every poll is meaningless until King Fred says he is running? Boy that really cuts it.

This proves that Gallup is out of touch. Or does it prove that Free Republic is out of touch?

I have fundamental problems with any poll that shows 20% of conservatives voting for John McCain. That is practically impossible.

This proves that Gallup is out of touch. Or does it prove that Free Republic is out of touch? Free Republic has been out of touch with the American voting public since the 2006 elections.

Poor guy, mother must have hated him to give him a name like that.

I'm waiting for Fred.
I'll give ten times the amount to Fred Thompson that I gave to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.
The Swiftees did their duty and have my eternal gratitude, but I'd much rather be for a real conservative than against a lying gigolo.

IF Fred runs that is one thing (I support Fred), but I think it's clear that we who see Rudy for what he is have lost.
Over at Lucianne they are even more rabid in their Rudymania. Id say about 75-80% of them are for him.

Same here.
Most of my "conservative" family and co-workers love Rudy.
