Now there is an idea...nominate one of the few candidates with as many negatives as Hitlary. I respect Newt, and I suspect that beneath the smear of scandals he is a principled person, there is NO WAY that the American public votes for him.

Y'know, even if Newt doesn't grab the ring, his presence alone will help define the issues. When there's a meeting and Newt's there, he's always the smartest guy in the room.

Thanks for the ping. This is a pretty uplifting and pro-Newt article. All I can say is "Keep it up Newt and Go Newt Go!"

"I don't see how you raise the money to become competitive. Gephardt won Iowa in 1988, came second in New Hampshire, but couldn't take advantage of it because he didn't have the money. If they don't have any money to build on their victory, it won't be of much use."
It's patently obvious but still needs to be said...Newt is NOT another Gephardt!
