Y'know, even if Newt doesn't grab the ring, his presence alone will help define the issues. When there's a meeting and Newt's there, he's always the smartest guy in the room.

You're right and even if he runs but doesn't win his presence in the race will elevate the level of our discourse and assure a fair hearing for conservative principles.

Can you imagine him debating Hitlary? It would be so lopsided people would feel sorry for that shrew.

You are correct. I will admit, that even as a huge Newt supporter and follower, the chances of him even winning the nomination are not great.

However, with him in the race he will indeed have a huge impact on the process that will bode well for the few real conservatives left in the GOP and the nation at large.

I hope he runs.
