So far my list is quite small:
Ensure (the nutrition drinks)
Jello
smooth soups
ice cream
pudding
Any other ideas? I'll be pretty sore for a couple/few weeks I guess. Thanks so much!

I would add yogurt but wouldn't your doctor be able to provide you with the best foods for you? Even if something is easy to swallow it might not be good for your throat.

I am recovering from gall bladder surgery. I know not the same thing but I suspect they will have you on a liquid diet, and work your way up to soft and more solid food.
Custards go down easy.

Do you like yogurt? Applesauce? Oatmeal or farina?
That's what they gave me years ago when I had a tonsillectomy.
If you can handle the calories, cheesecake mashed is another option...or anything mashed for that matter...mashed potatoes.......

Yogurt. Baby food. The choices are varied, from pureed fruits and vegetables to meats. I know, it sounds crazy, but they're easy!

When my friend's child had her tonsils, and adenoids removed, they said no milk products for six weeks because of the mucus it creates..just a thought.
