Miztiki, get yourself some of those jello puddings, applesauce, cream of wheat, jello, egg custard (plenty of protein in that)I wouldn't recommend anything that is carbonated.

Prayers for a speedy recovery after a successful operation. And might you have access to a bass-o-matic?

mware, "liquid diet" is going to help me find a whole bunch of foods. I'd been searching with other keywords but that will surely be most helpful. Thanks, and best wishes on your recovery. :-)

Mizitki, you might want to buy some protein powder too, I use to mix it in my moms egg custard after she had problem eating after open heart surgery.

True. Just thinking of the poor sick Miztiki and the easiest way to get it. If possible, do homemade. Having worked in a potato processing plant, I heartily recommend homemade. DON'T ASK! DON'T TELL!

Oooh. Good point. Let anything carbonated go flat before you drink it, Mistiki.

Chicken broth and beef bouillon cubes for dinner, Gatorade, apple juice...I'd avoid anything too spicy.

When I got a wisdom tooth removed I lived on Jamba Juice smoothies with protein powder for a few days.
To: Miztiki
that was a very good suggestion from the freeper who mentioned the milk products. Check with your doctor, mucus could be a problem.

Never be sorry - beer is liquid bread and an anesthetic to boot.
