Today's kids wouldn't last a day in the Spartan World
They wouldn't last a week on the farm like some of there parents/grandparents did.
The History Channel had a great special on the Spartans. I was shocked that babies judged to be unfit were left to die, talk about a tough crowd!
In Greece today, those from Sparta (Sparti in Greek) are judged the second toughest of the Greeks (second to those from Crete--you do NOT mess with them!).
Hopefully our military warriors would make a good showing. But forget the kids....."I" wouldn't last a minute!!
